NFL Waiver Wire Pickups- Week 5 Fantasy Football 2008
Here are some fantasy players to target off the waiver wire heading into Week 5.
I start with Lots of wide receivers who were productive last week and could continue to be productive depending on their match ups.
Steve Breaston, WR, Arizona (More valuable if Boldin doesn’t play)
Isaac Bruce, WR, San Francisco
Matt Jones, WR, Jacksonville
Bobby Engram, WR, Seattle (Should be back from injury week 5)
Robert Meachem, WR, New Orleans
Lance Moore, WR, New Orleans (Has become Brees’ favorite target)
Amani Toomer, WR, N.Y. Giants (Burress out – will get lots of looks his way)
Kevin Walter, WR, Texans (With Johnson getting the double teams, Schaub is finding Walter)
Derrick Mason, WR, Ravens
Muhsin Muhammed, WR, Carolina
SLEEPER TO WATCH: Chris Henry, WR, Cincinnati (coming back this week from suspension)
Zach Miller, TE, Oakland (On bye this week, But has developed a rapport with Russell)
Marc Bulger, QB, St. Louis (Has been re-named the starter for the rest of the season)
Deuce McAllister, RB, New Orleans
Kevin Boss, TE, N.Y. Giants
Najeh Davenport, RB, Pittsburgh (signed with Steelers due to RB injuries. Could see majority of carries immediately)
Le’Ron McClain, RB, Ravens (More valuable if McGahee doesn’t play. However, Facing tough Tennessee D this week)
Mewelde Moore, RB, Pittsburgh (Will resume third down role with Davenport on board)
