Paintball games involve a large amount of methodology to win. The strategy and planning doesn’t only go for game methods but also for gear. Having the best paintball equipment can just be as equivalent to having a great quantity of skill and talent. One of your most urgent paintball parts is the paintball tank.

Co2 and compressed air

Paintball tanks come in two variants. A co2 tank contains co2 gas while HPA tanks contain compressed air. Each has its own set of benefits and disadvantages but both function to propel paintballs from your marker. The quality of your tank dictates the range and force of your shots so select smartly.

Temperature and paintball tanks

Make sure to check the temperature of your playing field before stocking up on tanks. Co2 tanks have a record of malfunctioning in temperatures less than fifty degrees Fahrenheit so if you’ll be playing under these conditions best to invest on HPA tanks. Having a mixture of both on hand is also a good contingency and especially if you’re expecting lengthy game times.

Best bang for your buck

Cost smart co2 tanks are less expensive compared to the HPA variant. A Co2 tank typically comes in 12oz, 16oz, 20 0z, and 24oz denominations with a mean of 800 shots per 20oz tank. HPA tanks can propel less than 800 which make it a load more pricey but have much less reports of malfunctions.

When choosing which paintball tank to but it is best to think about getting most of co2′s and keeping a few HPA’s for back up.
